Ronae Jull- The Secret to Parenting Teens After Divorce

Ronae says that she is “ridiculously optimistic about teenagers.”  She is driven to give of her experience and lessons learned in the hopes of reaching someone who is lost in the darkness, who cannot find a way through to the joy, who is defeated by guilt and rage and shame, who may be able to use my outstretched hand for a moment. Ronae walked away from three deeply abusive relationships and several that were less so, lost a home to fire and nearly lost her life and that of her youngest son, spent more than a year in isolation in what she calls “my spiritual retreat” and dealt with family members who were facing their own intense issues.

Ronae knows that parenting teenagers is tough! She tackles challenging parenting issues head on, from a been-there done-that perspective. Having raised four children to adulthood, there are a few things she’s learned – both from doing things right and from doing them wrong. Her website is ronaejull.com.

On this Telesummit, Ronae will be talking about how to:

  • Move from collaborative parenting to cooperative parenting
  • Manage your teen’s emotional overload
  • Recreate stability and celebrate hope

Patrick McMillan – Don’t Fight the Darkness!  Allowing the Light Makes the Darkness Disappear

Countdown Timer:

On his own at the young age of 15, having escaped the sadness and unhappiness of his home life, Patrick managed to transform his deep fear of repeating the cycle of parenting he experienced as a child into embracing the idea of being an emotionally connected and mindful father.  Patrick has spent most of his boy’s lives as their “stay at home dad” and has turned that experience into his passion and purpose by focusing on raising happy self-confident and compassionate children, and sharing his passion with others.

This led Patrick to the publishing of his first “emotional wellness” book for kids called An Exercise in Happiness which is being used in classrooms around the world, and co-creating the Happier Kids Now Expo for Parents and Teachers in 2010, a 3 month long seminar series to inspire conscious parenting and raising happy kids.

After his divorce in 2008 Patrick found his “passion for compassion”, forgiveness and gratitude to be the “magic pills” to raising happy kids despite divorce, even when the ex can be hurtful.

  • Breaking the Cycle – Have you ever found yourself sounding (or looking) like YOUR parents when you’re frustrated with your kids?  Or your ex? It comes from memories of our parents deep in our subconscious which became hard-wired beliefs that manifest in our experience as parents and spouses.
  •  How Toxic Thoughts Poison Our Soul and Our Kids Beliefs – What we think when it comes to our ex is the cause of all circumstance and situations we have with them, and like toxic gas the effects of our toxic thoughts are felt deeply by our kids and can have an effect on their entire life.
  • Believe it to See it!   When we truly believe we can live a harmonious life as co-parents and raise happy, self-confident and optimistic children despite our divorce…We See it happen before our eyes.

Jeremy Maher – Get the Credit You Deserve After Divorce

Countdown Timer:

We know that many time divorce contributes to or creates credit problems.  Jeremy Maher knows that too. Jeremy graduated with a degree in Finance from the Owen College of Business at Eastern Michigan University. He has worked in lending, debt negotiation, automotive finance, and collections, reviewing thousands of credit reports. From there he started his own successful credit repair company, but became conflicted.

He quickly realized that in order to keep clients, most credit repair companies resort to slowing down the repair process, or upsell additional services.  Jeremy recognized that these tactics forcemost people to continue to pay for services they really can’t afford or drop out of the credit repair process entirely. Others give up before their credit is repaired.

Meanwhile Jeremy was helping friends repair their credit. He realized after teaching his friends a few techniques that they were just as successful as his clients! So Jeremy put together all the tips, information and ‘how-to’ advice he’d given his friends and put it into a simple package that anyone can use to repair their own credit.  His website is www.MyCreditDoc.com

On this Telesummit Jeremy will discuss:

  • Why Credit is Important
  • Why Credit Reports are Crucial
  • What to do if Your Ex Doesn’t Pay
  • How to Repair Your Credit After Divorce
