Divorced Parent Telesummit – Introducing Tech Night

In today’s world of technology there are a number of resources that can benefit separating,  divorcing or divorced parents. Pam and I wanted to take one session of the Telesummit to share two technology related resources with you; Our Family Wizard website and Life Journal software.

Our Family Wizard

First, we would like to introduce Jai Kissoon the CEO and one of the original founders of the OurFamilyWizard website. The OurFamilyWizard website was created to help reduce or remove conflict between separated or  divorced parents. The website is designed to help empower families to help themselves.

Using Our Family Wizard can reduce divorce conflict and remove the “he said/she said” that keeps families returning to court over joint custody and co-parenting issues. The Our Family Wizard website helps reduce the face-to-face contact between high-conflict parents. In fact, courts across the USA and Canada have ordered usage of the site in contested cases and found it to be a very effective tool and solution for high conflict parents.

For families who are not in conflict, the Our Family Wizard site has proven to be helpful in keeping both parents up-to-date and informed about the children. Parents can communicate, organize and manage all of their family information, share messages, journals, expenses and more.

During Jai’s session he will share why online co-parenting solutions like the OurFamilyWizard website are so effective. In the meantime if you would like to learn more information, click here

 Life Journal

Our second speaker in the technology session will be Ruth Folit, designer of the award-winning LifeJournal. Life Journal is a unique, secure, journaling software that is organized, inspirational and heartfelt. Life Journal combines the thoughts, suggestions, and philosophy of many journal writers to help you express your innermost feelings. Ruth will discuss the benefits of journaling through difficult transitions.

Journaling allows people to clarify their thoughts and feelings, thereby gaining valuable self-knowledge. It’s also a good problem-solving tool; oftentimes, one can hash out a problem and come up with solutions more easily when it is in writing. Journaling about traumatic events helps one process them by fully exploring and releasing the  emotions involved, and by engaging both hemispheres of the brain in the process, allowing the experience to become fully integrated in one’s mind.

Life Journal is a tool that helps you open incredible paths for learning to name and live deeply the joys, failures, weaknesses, and victories that form creative and spiritual growth.

As part of the Telesummit, Ruth will be introducing a special Divorce Module for Life Journal specifically designed (by Pam Wynn) to carry on the tips and strategies provided during the Telesummit and to support you through your divorce transition.

To learn more about the benefits of these resources and how they can help ease the stress of divorce  and co-parenting, you will want to listen on Wednesday, October 5th at 9:30 pm EST/7:30 pm MST/6:30 pm PST.

It is not too late to register to attend the Divorced Parent Telesummit. Go to the top of this page (right side) and click on the blue button to learn more.
